TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Incidental Wear and Tear: Minor changes that can develop through normal use, such as surface scratches, small dents, gradual rhodium fading, minor band reshaping or a loose prong requiring tightening. Whether a chipped or missing stone is covered depends on the written warranty and the cause of the damage.
Purposeful or Excessive Damage: Serious damage caused by improper care, a hard impact, crushing, severe bending, broken stone setting or prong, chemical exposure, unauthorized repair or another event that may require substantial rebuilding or a complete recast. To reduce avoidable damage, remove fine jewelry before sleeping, exercising, showering, swimming, sports, manual work or using cleaning chemicals.
Engraving Disclaimer: JOMOMO may decline or modify an engraving request containing hateful, threatening, discriminatory, obscene, unlawful or otherwise inappropriate material.
Custom Made‑to‑Order Pieces — Consumer Notice
Custom and made‑to‑order pieces are produced to the specifications approved for an individual order. Cancellation, return and withdrawal rights may differ from those that apply to standard stock goods. Any limitation must comply with the mandatory consumer rights in the buyer’s location and does not remove rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described. Customer‑initiated cancellation after design services (such as CAD drawing) have been performed may incur service‑related deduction as set forth under the Hold & Deposit Agreement.
Receipt & Damaged‑Upon‑Arrival Notice: Customers must inspect goods promptly upon delivery. Claims for items damaged in transit must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos to facilitate prompt resolution. Failure to report within this window may delay claim processing and may result in denial of transit‑damage claims, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory consumer law.

Hold & Deposit Agreement
This section outlines the deposit terms for custom orders placed with JOMOMO. The final signed invoice or hold agreement controls if it states different terms.
By submitting the 50% order deposit, the client acknowledges the confirmed item, specifications and all conditions shown on the written agreement, including CAD drawing‑related charges where applicable.
1. Deposit Rules
A 50% deposit of the total order value is required to commence design work including CAD drawing generation. No item reservation or design work will be started until this deposit is received.
If the purchase is completed, the accepted deposit is applied toward the final balance.
If the client chooses not to proceed prior to CAD drawings being generated, the deposit will be fully refunded, subject to applicable law.
Where CAD drawings have been completed and issued at client’s request, a service fee of USD 200 for completed CAD‑related design work will be deducted from the deposit as reimbursement for services already rendered.
This USD 200 service fee applies only when CAD work is completed at the client’s request and the client voluntarily cancels the order. No deduction applies if JOMOMO cannot fulfil the order, or if goods are defective, mis‑described or damaged‑upon‑arrival.
This deduction shall not exceed the total deposit amount actually paid by the client. Any remaining deposit balance after deduction will be refunded subject to applicable local consumer law.
Additional Redrawing Fee: After CAD drawings are issued, should the client request to switch to a substantially different jewellery design requiring brand‑new CAD drawings, an additional redrawing fee of USD 50 shall apply per new design request. Minor adjustments or tweaks to the existing approved design do not trigger this additional fee.
Nothing herein limits any mandatory statutory consumer rights the buyer may hold for defective, mis‑described or damaged‑upon‑arrival goods.
2. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate contact information and respond promptly to design confirmation requests. The client understands that CAD‑related service‑deduction charges and redrawing fees will apply once CAD outputs are issued at the client’s request.
3. Company Discretion
JOMOMO may decline order requests where permitted by applicable law, taking into account gemstone availability, design feasibility and supplier requirements. All deposit‑based orders shall be confirmed in writing.
