WARRANTY POLICY
Part 1 — Limited Warranty
This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights under your state’s laws.
Phase One: 12‑Month Limited Manufacturing Warranty
This 12‑month limited warranty commences upon the original purchaser’s receipt of the finished jewelry piece.
What is covered: This warranty covers manufacturing and workmanship defects occurring under normal intended use. Covered issues include defective soldering, casting defects, faulty prongs or settings, defective clasps, and accent‑stone loosening or loss caused purely by original manufacturing error. No labor markup will be charged for eligible warranty repairs. Parts or material costs may still apply where applicable.
What is NOT covered under this limited warranty:
- Incidental wear and tear including surface scratches, dents, gradual rhodium fading, metal thinning, normal prong wear over time
- Purposeful or Excessive Damage, impact‑related damage, chipping or cracking of gemstones / diamonds
- Loss or theft of the jewelry or any stones
- Misuse, abuse, chemical exposure, damage from manual work, sports or improper daily care
- Main / center diamond or gemstone intrinsic quality; any stone‑manufacturer‑level stone‑related warranty shall be governed by the diamond lab / gemstone certificate issuer (e.g. IGI).
- Defects or damage introduced by unauthorized alteration, resizing or third‑party repair work.
Important note: This limited manufacturing warranty only covers factory‑related workmanship defects and is NOT a substitute for jewelry insurance. Loss, theft, or accidental damage such as chipped stones are not covered under this warranty. We strongly recommend purchasing a separate jewelry insurance policy from a third‑party insurer to protect against these risks.
Phase Two: Repairs at Cost
After the initial 12‑month warranty period expires, repair services may still be available at our direct‑cost basis. “At cost” means actual direct parts and labor cost for the approved repair work, based on inspection and written quotation; no additional profit margin will be added on repairs.
Work performed by an unauthorized outside jeweler may void part or all of this warranty only to the extent that such third‑party work directly causes damage or defects to the jewellery piece. Contact info@jomomojewelry.com prior to arranging any third‑party alteration or repair.
Unless explicitly stated within a separate written warranty document, coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non‑transferable upon resale or gifting of the item.

Part 3 — Reference Definitions (cross‑referenced from Terms and Conditions)
1. Incidental Wear and Tear
Minor changes that can develop through normal use, such as surface scratches, small dents, gradual rhodium fading, minor band reshaping or a loose prong requiring tightening. Whether a chipped or missing stone is covered depends on the written warranty and the cause of the damage.
2. Purposeful or Excessive Damage
Serious damage caused by improper care, a hard impact, crushing, severe bending, broken stone setting or prong, chemical exposure, unauthorized repair or another event that may require substantial rebuilding or a complete recast.
To reduce avoidable damage, remove fine jewelry before sleeping, exercising, showering, swimming, sports, manual work or using cleaning chemicals.
Implied Warranty Limitation
Where permitted by applicable state law, any implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, are limited to the 12‑month duration of this limited written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you.
Part 4 — Governing Law Notice
Nothing in this Warranty Policy shall override the mandatory consumer protection laws of the buyer’s U.S. state of residence. For all matters not subject to mandatory consumer statutory provisions, this warranty is governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
